These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using MyType (the “Service”) provided by Kortress (the “Company”), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.
Article 1 (Purpose and Nature of the Service)
Using the information you select and enter, the Service generates AI images of a non-existent, fictional “ideal type” and, just for fun, analyzes the “sync rate” between that image and a partner photo you upload. It is an entertainment service intended purely for amusement. The generated images are not real people, and the sync rate and comments are not scientific or medical facts — they are results meant only for fun.
Article 2 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
These Terms take effect once posted within the Service. The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law, and will give advance notice specifying the effective date and the reason for any change.
Article 3 (User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct)
Users must not do any of the following:
· Uploading a photo of yourself, or of a third party (including a minor) for whom proper consent has not been obtained
· Using the results to defame others or to cause offense
· Attempting to misuse the Service to generate obscene or illegal content (the Service permits only non-explicit, SFW content)
· Placing excessive load on the Service through automated means
You are solely responsible for securing the rights to, and consent for, any photo you upload.
Article 4 (Handling of Photos and Personal Data)
Photos you upload (ideal type and partner) are used only temporarily for analysis and are never stored on our servers and are discarded immediately. Share links contain only text results, never photos. Details are governed by the Privacy Policy.
Article 5 (Intellectual Property)
All rights to the Service, including its design, code, and trademarks, belong to the Company. You may freely save and share the result images you generate for personal, non-commercial use.
Article 6 (Paid Services and Payment)
Some features may be offered for a fee, and payments are processed through a payment provider (such as Polar). Before payment, the price, what is provided, and the refund conditions are disclosed on screen. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.
Article 7 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)
The Service is provided “as is,” and the Company does not warrant the accuracy or suitability of generated results. The Service is for entertainment, and the Company is not liable for decisions you make based on the results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company’s liability for damages is limited to the amount you actually paid for the transaction at issue.
Article 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any litigation regarding disputes shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
